Hello,

Could someone please check the status of abel.d.o. Seems to be down today:

% ssh abel.debian.org
ssh: connect to host abel.debian.org port 22: Connection timed out

Thanks !

Hello,
% ssh abel.debian.org
ssh: connect to host abel.debian.org port 22: Connection timed out
Yes. I think that's my fault. I removed decommissioned Hoiby from the
rack yesterday and the power cabled wobbled on abel caused a reset
(that's just how the hardware is). I pressed the button to restart it,
so it should have been OK, but apparently not.
I'm not normally in the office (and thus server room) again until
Monday, but if you would like to use the box before that I can go take
a look this evening (it's a 10min bike ride).
No rush. I'll try again sometime next week :)

Thx for the quick reply !

Abel is now back up.
Here is what I see on my side right now:

[...]
debug1: Connecting to abel.debian.org [217.140.106.111] port 22.
debug1: connect to address 217.140.106.111 port 22: Connection timed out
ssh: connect to host abel.debian.org port 22: Connection timed out

Could you do me another favor and double check on your side ?

Thanks again

You are right. The power went off again (looks like 19:17 4th
sept). I'm not sure why. Clearly something is not reliable as it only
ran for about 3.5 hours. I've jiggled some cables and powered it back up
again. It's working right now:

$ ssh -J master.debian.org abel.debian.org
Linux abel 4.19.0-21-armmp-lpae #1 SMP Debian 4.19.249-2 (2022-06-30) armv7l
...
Welcome to abel.debian.org, the Debian armhf porterbox.

Let's see if it stays up.

That worked out just fine for me, see #1051384.

Thanks a lot !
