Hello,
I just tried to install bookworm on a Cubox-i.
What I did
Downloaded firmware.MX6_Cubox-i.img.gz and partition.img.gz from:
http://ftp2.de.debian.org/debian/dists/bookworm/main/installer-armhf/current/
images/netboot/SD-card-images/
Created and installation image:
# zcat firmware.MX6_Cubox-i.img.gz partition.img.gz > /dev/sdc
# sync
Booted the device with a serial console attached:
First issue I run into:
No kernel modules were found. This probably is due to a mismatch │
│ between the kernel used by this version of the installer and the │
│ kernel version available in the archive. │
│ │
│ You should make sure that your installation image is up-to-date, or - │
│ if that's the case - try a different mirror, preferably │
│ deb.debian.org. │
│ │
│ The installation will probably fail to work if you continue without │
│ kernel modules. │
│ │
│ Continue the install without loading kernel modules?
Are installation media and archive out of sync? Is there a nightly
installation media I should try?
I continued and then run into (might be a consequence from the first issue):
┌────────────────────┤ [!] Detect disks ├────────────────────┐
│ │
│ No partitionable media │
│ No partitionable media were found. │
│ │
│ Please check that a hard disk is attached to this machine. │
│ │
│ <Go Back> <Continue>
Any feedback is welcome :-)
Thanks
Rainer
